Natural Antibiotic Dip

Delicious Alternative Medicine Recipe for Holistic Health

Oct 28, 2009 Elaena Stanitsas

Garlic, lemon, parsley, cayenne pepper and avocado work together to create a delicious natural antibiotic dip.

There are many common foods that have powerful antibiotic and medicinal properties alone, and stronger natural healing benefits when ingested together. When combined together the health benefits of garlic, lemon juice, parsley and cayenne pepper are amplified and mixed with avocado, creating a natural antibiotic and antiviral dip that is both healing and delicious.

Parsley

According to Dr. Dennis Moffat, parsely stimulates the energy of organs, enhancing the utilization of nutrients in the body. It has high levels of vitamin C, calcium, beta carotene, vitamin B12, chlorophyll and many other nutrients. Chlorophyll is anti-bacteiral and anti-fungal, which enhances the immune system and relieves mucus congestion and suppresses viruses. These characteristics in addition to all the other health benefits of parsley for the body are ideal for maintaining a holistic lifestyle all the time and especially helpful when ill with influenza, colds, or other respiratory and sinus infections.

Cayanne

As explained in Prescription for Nutritional Healing, by Phyllis A. Blach, CNC, cayenne acts as a catalyst for other herbs. It aids digestion, improves circulation, and helps to ward off colds, influenza and sore throats. With its own healing power and the catalytic combination with the other ingredients, cayenne ads to the potency of this natural remedy.

Lemon juice

Lemon juice aids digestion, boosts the immune system and promotes healthy blood production, all of which help in the medicinal equation of this holistic health formula.

Garlic

This is a powerful natural medicine, and according to The Green Pharmacy, "one of the plant kingdom's most potent, broad-spectrum antibiotics." Garlic also has antioxidant nutrients such as vitamins A and C and selenium. Phyllis A. Balch, CNC in Prescription for Nutritional Healing wrote "Garlic is one of the most valuable foods on the planet," and "it should be consumed daily." Eating garlic raw is the most direct way of absorbing its powerful antibiotic, antiviral and antioxidant qualities.

Avocado

Avocado is added mostly for flavor and texture but it does have excellent health benefits that are always beneficial to the body.

Recipe for a Natural, Delicious, Holistic Antibiotic Dip

This recipe is by Leah Duke, WHP. It makes four servings.

Ingredients:

  • 12 cloves garlic
  • 3 avocados
  • Half a bundle of parsley
  • 1 teaspoon of powdered cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 lemon

Peel garlic, snip off leaves of parsley, scoop out avocado, squeeze lemon and place cayenne and all other ingredients in a food processor. If you do not have a food processor, chop all the ingredients as fine as possible and mix them together in a bowel.

You can eat this dip with chips or crackers, put it on toast or bread, eat it plain, or be creative and add it to whatever food you would normally add garlic and avocado to. Save it in an air tight container in the refrigerator and eat 1/4 of the mixture per serving, at least once daily. This dip has a strong flavor but a powerful medicinal benefit.

Natural Antibiotic Dip for Holistic Health

This simple, healthy, home-made treatment and herbal remedy is effective at preventing and healing illnesses such as influenza, bronchitis, colds, and other sinus, respiratory viral or bacterial infection. It can also be eaten daily as a natural preventative to avoid illness and maintain health.

Love these great natural ideas, thank you! Our family loves natural stuff and we are not only trying to avoid colds and flu (which I think our kids have actually had all week) but we also love our Topricin pain cream. It just feels good on sore and achy muscles. Always helpful if you do happen to get a bug! Thanks again :)
